In April 2008 Trish and her fiance Braden told us that they were getting married in June. Trish sat with Lucy and asked her to be her only Bridesmaid,Lucy was so excited and preparations began. Trish and Lucy went online and found Lucy a beautiful dress in aqua blue,when it arrived Lucy tried it on and called her Dad to see her. There were tears for everyone as she looked beautiful. On the day of the Wedding the weather was perfect Trish and Lucy had great fun getting ready,Lucy was dressed first and then Trish came down to show Lucy and her Dad the Wedding Dress as they had never seen it,Lucy just burst into tears and told her how beautiful she looked. The day was perfect and everything went according to plan. Lucy stayed awake all day and it was midnight before we finally got home,but Lucy was still on a high and kept saying what a wonderful day it had been. It made Lucy so proud to be Trish and Bradens Bridesmaid as she thought Trish wouldn't want her,but Trish was just as proud as she was of Lucy, it was so special to us all. This fullfilled another of Lucys goals in life.
